Welcome to The Mysterious Stranger blog, Christopher Steinvold!
"Indie Author Tuesday" is all about showcasing writing talent beyond the big publishing companies. However, while my identity is clouded in mystery, Steinvold has already written a book available for purchase now. You can read more about Steinvold's novel here.
If you could have dinner with one author - living or not - who would it be and why?
Any French author, as they likely know how to cook.
Many authors approach writing differently. Some plot, some just write, others cobble together fragments over a long period of time. What is your writing process?
As this is my first novel, I can't say that I have much of a method. I am a pantser, i.e. I write by the seat of my pants. If I've got a beginning I like, and an ending I like, then hopefully I can rush forth with wild mind and fill in the large blanks.
A mysterious stranger approaches and offers you one book to read, unpublished in our universe but published in another alternate universe. Which book would you choose and why?
Aristotle's lost text on comedy. Because he's Aristotle and because comedy is more important than we know.
